Made weak by time and fate,
but strong in will;
To seek, to strive, to find, and not to yield.

Side Note:
The fork. or Also known as "A Dingle-hopper" Reminds me of one who not only had amazing hair (that I would pretend I had as I swam in our pool as a young girl) but also for me represents a young woman who loved learning about everything and anything. Who pushed past barriers and boundaries to find her place in this world. In this industry education is key and you are always always learning. Everyday! And with that requires perseverance to reach goals. The industry of beauty is all about testing, pushing and surpassing barriers and boundaries. This industry is truly SWEET!!!!

pink 50's salon dryer chair for sale

This sweet dryer does work! It has a pop up foot rest and an ash tray.
(Ya it's totally vintage! LOL)
There is some tearing of the vinyl at the foot but can be easily replaced with coordinating fabric.
Asking $300 or best offer. I did do some research and nothing came up on the Swift Drylight (which is the brand) However I found a drylight stand alone dryer for sale for $225 in pink. The totally match. If only I had a big enough salon space, I'd keep this baby and get the stand alone to match. Please email me at: sugarjane@live.com if you're interested.

For the Love of all things beautiful and princess like♥

I'm a lover of all things girly. Especially princess's and my little Princess- So she says: " Mommy. I a princess" As she twirls in her dress. "Yes you are" I tell her.

I am a princess myself. So my little princess tells me. Every day after I've gotten myself together I hear: " Mommy, you look like a princess"

Knowing I'm a Daughter of a King or a Daughter of God is an amazing blessing and is soulfully empowering. With sense of self and knowledge of individual worth firmly intact, I can do anything. I have confidence and joy in myself. (And when I don't, the crown comes on) So what does this have to do with hair?
Let my tell ya! My hummy and I are totally loving the new series "Once Upon a Time". For those of you who've never heard of it; the jist is that snow white, her prince charming and every fairy tale character in the fairy tale realm is cursed by the evil witch ( and let me tell ya.. She is a total Witch!) so fitting! The curse puts them in our time living in Storybrooke, Maine with no recollection of who they are and with time frozen. I recommend you start watching. So good.
So back to the purpose, the HAIR. LOL.
So our sweet Snow white is played by the beautiful Ginnifer Goodwin. She's perfect for this roll.
And her hair style for the part in our world is her adorable pixie.

How I love a good pixie! You need great features, total confidence and sense of self to wear a pixie properly. It doesn't matter how amazing it's cut, if you can't own it, it won't fit you at all and you'll never love it. I'm no longer hating Tessa's new short locks as her cut is very close to Ginnifer's. Tessa's back has more length to help avoid the horrid "growing out" period. I have been tempted lately however to shorten my princess's hair a little bit more to mimic princess Ginnifer. Or maybe someday, when I'm feeling brave.... I'll try a pixie, but that will only happen when I'm ready to keep my hair short for good. Right now I'm going for length.

Sorry it's blurry. She was so wiggley!

♥♥♥ side note: I do believe every girl and woman should have a crown as a reminder of her indavidual worth. The best is to wear it when having a bad day. It totally can make you feel so much better. (I know from experience!) ; )
